Bank and credit card reconciliations
Reconciliations are one of the most important aspects of bookkeeping. It assists you to track all expenditure and income and highlights any transactions that are misplaced.
BAS preparation and lodgement
If your business is registered for GST then lodging a BAS monthly or quarterly is a requirement for the ATO. You must be registered for GST if your revenue is $75,000 or more.
Accounts payable
/ receivable
AR consists of your debtors. Your invoicing needs to be up to date and completed regularly. AP consists of your creditors. Bills need to be entered and paid in a timely manner to avoid a poor credit rating.
We will keep you up to date with your financial reporting such as your Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet. This allows you to micro manage your business and track where you are at financially.
Payroll including Single Touch Payroll (STP)
If you employ on a casual, part time or full time basis you must register for Single Touch Payroll (STP) meaning data from every pay cycle recorded is automatically sent to the ATO.

Superannuation is currently 9.5% of the gross wage and must be paid through a 'Clearing House'.
When an employee is made redundant they will be entitled to a lump sum pay out dependent upon their years of service.
This is a compulsory insurance paid to employees if they are injured or become sick due to their work. All businesses that employ workers must have this cover. Failure to do so can result in serious penalties.
Long Service
LSL is a paid leave that all employees can take whether casual or not and it applies after a certain period of service. The period of service differs in each state.
